Wizards Weekend - Details
Saturday, Sept 26th  - Wizards Costume Contest: 
Please join us for our Wizard Costume Contest where we welcome all wizards, both young and old, to show the audience the way a wizard should dress for the occasion.

Sunday, Sept 27th - Contest: Harry Potter Cosplay Cosplay Contest & Snitch Hunt
Whether you’re from Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, all houses of Hogwarts are welcome to compete here at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. There are no age limit restrictions. Please come dressed as your desired Harry Potter character. 
Once the contest ends, kids can explore the shire to find candy-filled snitches hidden in plain sight.

Snitch Egg Hunt: Kids (ages 0-9) can race around the shire to gather eggs. Be sure to bring a basket or bag to hold your candy and eggs. Don’t forget your camera!

Contest Info: Unless otherwise specified, entry into all contests at the Special Events Stage are included with your same-day admission to the Faire. If you are planning to enter a contest, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start. At the discretion of the contest host, some events may choose to limit the number of participants in a particular contest due to time restrictions.

Shop in one of New England’s largest olde-world marketplaces selling everything from clothing, jewelry, and housewares to swords, toys, and collectibles. All the Faire is a stage with jousting knights, armored combat, belly dancers, fire eaters, acrobats, musicians, and many other shows all included with your admission.
