Tours begin at 6pm and leave every 15 minutes. 

Experience an eerie evening at Mystic Seaport! 

Nautical Nightmares is a dramatic experience that explores ghost tales, legends, and unsolved mysteries of days gone by. Things that go bump in the night and spirits guiding you through a darkened village are just some of the ghostly goings-on you will encounter during this theatrical performance.

Each Nautical Nightmares performance will last approximately an hour. The walking tour meanders on a route that covers approximately 1/2 mile of uneven terrain, including (though not limited to) cobblestone, wood planking, grass, gravel, and stairs. Please wear appropriate shoes as you will walk and stand for the entire tour.

Nautical Nightmares requires a special ticket in lieu of general admission. Please call 860.572.5331 to purchase tickets.

Tickets: Members: $24. Non-Members: $28.   Youth Members: $19. Youth Non-Members: $24

Tours are capped at 18 people and leave every 15 minutes. Preregistration is encouraged, as tours fill up quickly. Parental advisory— this event is intended for ages 12 and older.  More details.
